Class D amplifiers have gained an impressive following in the audio industry. Many respected brands have embraced this technology with more in line to do so. The amplifiers are compact, light weight and 85+% efficient, resulting in very low heat rise. No fans, no exterior heat sinks. Transparency and dynamic range combine for a sense of realism that appeals to solid state and tube listeners. A soft clipping feature emulates the gradual roll-off of tubes. Voice and musical instruments sound like they are in your room. You will hear more ambience and resolution from recorded media. Modules are installed with aerospace quality switches, inputs and outputs. Wiring is silver coated Teflon to medical/mil spec. All models use medical grade filters to remove RFI/EMI from the AC power line. Balanced and unbalanced inputs are provided. All modules are true mono sharing only grounding and line power. M2 SURROUND SOUND The M2 Surround Sound amplifiers are designed to put full power where it is required, the front 2 channels. The remaining 3-5 channels, center, rear and side, do not see the same level of current demand. With the deep power reserves of the modules, if this does happen, soft clipping and thermal protection will ensure no permanent damage, and will probably replicate this higher energy signal without audible loss. This multi-power configuration offers full dynamic range at a significant price reduction. Any combination, including full power in all channels, is available in our CUSTOM SERIES described below. M2 units can be upgraded to full power or other combinations, for all channels, for cost plus shipping. All multi-channel units have 12VDC trigger circuits to allow standby, low energy dissipation when not in use, and manual, front panel shutoff for ultimate safety and zero energy loss. All modules are internally braced. |

OPTIONS

- Second power cord for 4-7 channel units. This is recommended only for commercial theater or concert applications where all channels drive subwoofers or full range speakers. No surround sound or video application should require this option. $195.
PARTING THOUGHTS
Late model AV receivers contain high quality preamps and processor chips. Those with preamp out jacks can send processed audio data to an M2 series 3-7 channel unit for a dramatic increase in power and quality. The M2-1250-3 is our most economical way to do this by putting high power where it counts - to the front channels. This frees up your side and rear channels to generate a much higher output level since they are not being drained by the fronts, which constitute 70% of your amplifier's output.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
- Standard shipping is UPS Ground, 4 days maximum, anywhere in the domestic USA.
- Standard domestic shipping price is $35 for 1-3 channel units and $50 for all other units. Alaska and Hawaii quoted separately.
- Buyer must pay the difference between UPS Ground and any more expensive shipping method.
- International rates must be quoted individually by country and postal code, and may be sent by other carriers.
